Chicago's Mick Jenkins released an easygoing new music video for “Spread Love,” a single off his latest album The Healing Component, which dropped in September.
Shot throughout his US and European tours, the visual is part-music video, part-tour recap. It’s full of genuine, candid clips of the rapper and his cohort during their momentous last few months as they toured the US and Europe. The video finds the Southside wordsmith in various situations, from leading chants of “spread love” at his shows, to meet and greets with eager fans, to intimate scenes of kicking it with friends. Fellow Chicago rapper Noname makes an appearance as well.
The visual was directed by Bryan Allen Lamb, who also photographed Jenkins for his cover story in Greenroom’s Issue 005, available here.
