Unless you've been living under a rock for the past week you've heard some news about Kanye West and The Life Of Pablo. With multiple title changes and tracklist tweaks, the album finally dropped via TIDAL on Sunday, February 14 after Ye's Madison Square Garden listening party/fashion show.
Complete with 18 tracks, the album ranges from College Dropout-era Kanye on "Real Friends" to Graduation meets 808s & Heartbreaks-era Kanye on feel good anthems like the Young Thug assisted "Highlights," and pretty much every Kanye in between. One of the more interesting tracks, "I Love Kanye," is an acapella freestyle dedicated to fans who always claim to miss the 'old Kanye.'
Stepping to the plate to spice this production-less freestyle up, Chicago producer Stefan Ponce goes classic, chopping up some old soul samples to bring "I Love Kanye" to life. Ponce, a frequent collaborator of Vic Mensa, Chance The Raper and Childish Gambino, kindly invited Greenroom into his Chicago home back in June for our At Home series. While you can't stream the remix at this time (thanks a lot, Soundcloud) Ponce has made a free download available which you can find HERE.
