With the release of his latest studio album, Malibu, Oxnard, California's Anderson .Paak suddenly has the whole world watching him. Announcing via Snapchat that he had signed to Dr. Dre's infamous Aftermath Entertainment, Paak made media rounds in New York this week and capped things off with an unforgettable performance on "The Late Show With Stephen Colbert."
Seamlessly blending together Malibu cuts "Silicon Valley" and "Carry Me," Paak showed up and showed out by blessing both the microphone the drum kit. Easing into his drum playing while rapping along to "Cary Me," Paak slowly builds up to an epic drum solo that caps off the emphatic live performance.
